Junius
11
A scholarly digital facsimile edition of Oxford, Bodleian Library MS
Junius 11, often referred to as the 'Caedmon Manuscript'. The CD contains
an historical introduction and codicological analysis of the manuscript,
the complete texts and translations hyperlinked to sets of extremely
high resolution images; there is also an extensive bibliography, diagrams
illustrating the sometimes problematic structure of its gatherings or
quires, and images of the manuscript's binding. This is one of only
four collections of Anglo-Saxon poetry surviving from before the Norman
Conquest of 1066, and the only one that is illustrated.
